Job summary

DFS in Nottingham is seeking a Frame Assembler to join a supportive production team. You’ll assemble furniture frames using hand and power tools, following established processes and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in furniture manufacturing or similar production work.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture frames using hand tools, power tools, jigs and fixtures, following established processes and work instructions.
• Read production specifications and prepare materials accordingly.
• Carry out quality checks on each frame and report issues.
• Identify and report damaged materials or equipment problems.
• Work safely with PPE and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Support production targets and collaborate with colleagues to improve efficiency.
