Job summary

HSL Chairs in Batley is seeking an upholsterer to join a fast-growing team. You will upholster furniture to a high standard and contribute to meeting production targets, with training provided to reach a high level of workmanship.

We offer benefits including health cash plan, discounts, pension, 30 days holiday pro rata, and free onsite parking. Hours are 39 per week, Monday to Thursday 6am-4:15pm or 7am-5:15pm, with Fridays off.

Qualifications

• To have experience in upholstery in a fast-paced environment, (preferably chairs).
• To respond to training on new products as to the demands of the business.

Responsibilities

• Upholsterer furniture to a high standard.
• Provide good quality work to set company standards.
• To meet agreed company production targets.
• To comply with Health and Safety procedures as set out in the company’s Health and Safety policy.
• To support overtime when the business requires it at busy times after being given significant notification.
• Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained at all times especially around workstations.
