Job summary

Mane Energy is seeking a motivated engineer to install, service and repair large format printers across customer sites. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and basic IT issues while delivering excellent customer service and building strong relationships.

The role involves travel mainly between Leeds and Newcastle with some nationwide trips. A clean driving licence and passport are required, together with a willingness to train overseas and stay away when needed.

Qualifications

• Practical interest in fixing things and understanding how equipment works.
• Interest in electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Basic understanding of computer networks and Microsoft applications.
• Full, clean driving licence and valid passport.
• Applicants must be over 21.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Willingness to travel extensively (≈30,000 miles/year).
• Flexibility around working hours and occasional overnight stays.
• Willingness to learn.
• An interest in photography would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair large format printers at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and basic IT issues.
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Identify potential equipment upgrades and new sales opportunities.
• Travel mainly Leeds–Newcastle corridor, with nationwide travel when required.
• Attend overseas training and stay away overnight with hotel expenses covered.
