Job summary

InReach Group is seeking an experienced Printer Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair multifunction printers across our customer base in the UK. You will travel to client sites, diagnose faults, and ensure devices operate to manufacturer specifications, with strong customer service and fault-finding skills.

Experience with Ricoh, Canon or Epson devices is essential, as is a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a field service engineer within the managed print industry.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking and basic IT troubleshooting.
Experience configuring network printers and MFPs.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faults on multifunction devices, photocopiers, printers and related print infrastructure.
Perform preventative maintenance visits and firmware upgrades as required.
Install, configure and commission new print devices at customer sites.
Configure devices for network printing and cloud-based document solutions.
Provide user guidance and basic training to customers.
