Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking a Trainee Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a site-based role within a large UK manufacturing operation. You will maintain automated production line machinery, respond to breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate is electrically qualified with experience in industrial/commercial environments and a willingness to learn. Overtime is available and holidays are generous.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified and able to work in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Experience in maintaining automated plant machinery to minimise downtime.
• Willingness to undertake maintenance tasks and respond to breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production downtime.
• Provide technical support on projects, installations and breakdowns.
• PPMs and planned maintenance tasks.

• Job Type: Permanent
• Salary: Up to £45800 per annum + + OT = earnings of £50k and upwards

The basics:

• Pay: £45,800 + overtime available = earnings of £50,000 and upwards achievable
• Hours: Monday to Thursday (8.00am to 4.00pm) and Fridays (6.00am to 4.00pm)
• Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays
• Holidays: 25 days

Overview:

Working within a large manufacturing business that have sites across the UK, you will be tasked to maintain the plants production line machinery ensuring that production keeps running efficiently, responding to breakdowns and re-active/planned maintenance.

Key responsibilities of the Trainee Electrical Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM's

The ideal candidate / Trainee Electrical Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served, apprentice trained or above - must be electrically qualified
• Previous experience working within an Industrial or commercial environment electrically.

Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicester, Loughborough and surrounding areas.
