Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) for a manufacturing site near Alsager. The role is days-only with a Panama-style rotation and offers a salary of £50,000–£52,237 plus overtime to £60,000+.

You will join a multi-skilled team, with electrical bias required. Commutable from Middlewich, Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Winsford, Alsager, Kidsgrove and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Time served, apprentice trained or above.
• Previous experience in maintenance within manufacturing/production.
• Electrically biased / multi skilled.
• Experience with hydraulic machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production downtime.
• Provide technical support on projects, installations and breakdowns.
• PPM's.

Job description

The basics:

• Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Electrical - day shift
• Industry: Manufacturing
• Location: Nead Alsager
• Pay: £50,000 to £52,237 DOE + OT = earnings of £60,000 and upwards achievable
• Shift: DAYS ONLY
• Panama Shift (Days Only - 12 hrs): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off (6.00am to 6.00pm and 11.00am to 11.00pm - rotation discussed at interview)
• Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays
• Holidays: 22 shifts.

Overview:

We now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team. Working for a manufacturing business that have sites across the globe you will be working in a multi skilled role. Both electrical and mechanical engineers considered, however electrical skills will be required for the role.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served, apprentice trained or above
• Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
• Electrically biased / multi skilled
• Experienced working with Hydraulic focused machinery beneficial
