Job summary

Nicholas Associates is recruiting for a site-based electrically qualified Maintenance Technician in a large UK manufacturing group near Mountsorrel, Leicester. You will maintain automated production line machinery, respond to breakdowns and perform planned maintenance to keep lines running.

The role offers daytime hours with overtime and good benefits. Candidates should be time served or apprentice trained with electrical qualifications and prior industrial experience.

Are you electrically qualified and have you worked in an industrial or commercial environment? (not residential)

Are you looking for a site based maintenance role working in the Manufacturing and Production sector where you will be tasked to maintain automated production line machinery?

The basics:

Location: Near Mountsorrel - Leicester

Pay: £45,800 + overtime available = earnings of £50,000 and upwards achievable

Hours: Monday to Thursday (8.00am to 4.00pm) and Fridays (6.00am to 4.00pm)

Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays

Holidays: 25 days

Overview

Working within a large manufacturing business that have sites across the UK, you will be tasked to maintain the plants production line machinery ensuring that production keeps running efficiently, responding to breakdowns and re-active/planned maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns

Desired Candidate Qualities

• Time served, apprentice trained or above - must be electrically qualified
• Previous experience working within an Industrial or commercial environment electrically.
