Job summary

Metro Rod Bristol in Radstock is seeking a Trainee Drainage Engineer for permanent, full‑time employment. You will assist our engineers with cleaning, clearing, repairing and maintaining drains while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Ideal candidates are flexible, positive and physically fit, able to work outdoors, and prepared for some unsociable hours. Overtime is paid at £19 per hour. Full training and career progression within the drainage industry are available.

• To support our Engineers in carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning clearance, repair and maintenance of our customer’s drains
• To deliver an exceptional standard of customer service
• To ensure you work in accordance with H&S and Quality Assurance procedures
• Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times

Your main responsibilities will be:
