Metro Rod Coventry & Leicester is seeking a General Assistant to support Drainage Engineers and Tanker Drivers in Coventry. The role offers full training with a view to progressing toward an Engineer position within 6–12 months, while working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm and earning a salary in the £22k–£26k range.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, are physically fit, hold a clean UK driving license, and are willing to work outdoors and some unsociable hours as the drainage industry evolves.

Qualifications

Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors.
NVQ level 2 drainage or equivalent is preferred; training provided to progress.

Responsibilities

Support our Drainage Engineers in cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of drains.
Deliver an exceptional standard of customer service.
Ensure work complies with H&S and Quality Assurance procedures.
Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod Support Centre.

Salary £22568 - £26440 age depending

Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, is also Willow Pumps and Filta. Two expanding businesses that focus on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. Together, the brands provide a complete one-stop shop for keeping water and waste flowing.
We are seeking a General Assistant to support our Drainage Engineers and Tanker Drivers. This role will provide you with training in order to move into a Drainage Engineer position further down the line. This would ideally suit someone from a civils/ground working background. We will provide full training - working towards becoming an Engineer within 6-12 months.

Your main responsibilities will be:

To support our Engineers in carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning clearance, repair and maintenance of our customer’s drains
To deliver an exceptional standard of customer service
To ensure you work in accordance with H&S and Quality Assurance procedures
Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times

Ideal candidates will:

Have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude
Want to be part of a growing and progressive business
Be willing to work some unsociable hours
Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors
Have a keen interest and desire to progress within the drainage industry
Be willing to work towards NVQ level 2 drainage or equivalent
Must have full clean UK driving license and own vehicle
