Metro Rod Coventry & Leicester is recruiting a General Assistant in Coventry, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, with salary £22,568–£26,440 per year depending on age. You will support Drainage Engineers, learn on the job and work towards becoming an Engineer within 6–12 months, with full training provided.

You should be physically fit, willing to work outdoors and hold a full clean UK driving licence with your own vehicle.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 drainage or equivalent is preferred.
• Positive, flexible attitude.
• Willingness to progress within drainage.

• To support our Drainage Engineers in carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customers' drains.
• To deliver an exceptional standard of customer service.
• To ensure you work in accordance with H&S and Quality Assurance procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.

Major companies and leading high street names trust us to deal with all their regular drain maintenance and we’ll bring the same high standards of service to tackle your drain blockage. We are seeking a General Assistant to support our Drainage Engineers and Tanker Drivers. This role will provide you with training in order to move into a Drainage Engineer position further down the line. This would ideally suit someone from a civils/ground working background. We will provide full training – working towards becoming an Engineer within 6-12 months.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

• Be willing to work towards NVQ level 2 drainage or equivalent
