Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals, learn through the NVQ2 dispenser training, and gain hands-on experience in dispensing prescriptions and advising patients on medicines.

You will work within the store’s healthcare department, building patient relationships, ensuring safe sale of medicines, and following SOPs to support patient safety.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
