Job summary

Boots is seeking a Trainee Dispenser in a UK store. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare team while you complete your Dispenser training (NVQ2), dispensing prescriptions and helping patients with medicines and health advice.

No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. This in-store role focuses on patient care, safe medicine handling, and developing your career with Boots benefits and an inclusive working environment.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Willingness to learn dispensing processes and patient care guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions with safe guidance under Pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in management and delivery of pharmacy services in-store.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe and legal dispensing.
