Job summary

Boots UK is hiring a Trainee Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the Pharmacist by dispensing prescriptions, giving patients care and advice, and helping ensure safe sale of medicines as you complete your Dispenser training (NVQ2).

No prior experience is required; full training will be provided, and you will work within the store healthcare department to build relationships with patients and promote wellness.

Qualifications

Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
Work with other healthcare professionals in your store to assist in the management and delivery of pharmacy services.
Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and to refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
Follow SOPs to support the safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
