Job summary

Boots UK is recruiting a Trainee Dispenser to join the in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist, assist in dispensing prescriptions, and help deliver healthcare services while you complete NVQ2 dispenser training.

The role is based in-store in the UK, with full training provided and no sponsorship for work visas. Excellent patient-facing interactions and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work; no visa sponsorship for Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines (ordering, labeling, dispensing, endorsing, and collection).
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in your store to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with innovations in store and comply with operational processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions with reliable repeats and adherence.
