Job summary

Boots UK is hiring a Trainee Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You’ll support the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and learn through the NVQ2 Dispenser training while working with patients to promote safe and effective medicine use.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided. The role focuses on customer care, proper labeling, and teamwork with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality pharmacy services within the store.

Qualifications

• Desire to complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2)
• Ambition to learn and grow within the Boots pharmacy team

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme
• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines (labelling, dispensing, endorsing)
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist
• Follow SOPs to support safe dispensing of prescriptions
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes
• Assist patients in managing their prescriptions and medicines to promote adherence
