Job summary

Birmingham Settlement is seeking a Trainee Debt & Welfare Benefits Adviser in Birmingham. Salary £25,000 per year, 35 hours per week, permanent contract with probation and potential accreditation as an accredited Debt & Welfare Benefit Advisor.

You will receive a blend of desk-based study and on-the-job training to develop the skills required to become accredited. After accreditation you will become fully qualified and support clients across the city with debt and welfare advice.

Qualifications

• Deliver debt and welfare benefits advice to a diverse client base.
• Shadow experienced advisers and complete training to achieve accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality debt and welfare benefits advice under supervision.
• Rotate across outreach locations and support clients with financial capability training.
