Job summary

Lift Winton is inviting aspiring Computing teachers to join a school-based Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme in partnership with Ark Teacher Training. As a Trainee Computing Teacher on the Tuition Fee-paying route, you will learn primarily in the classroom, supported by experienced mentors while working toward your PGCE and QTS.

The programme offers a tax-free bursary of £29,000 or a £31,000 scholarship, plus structured mentoring, weekly training, and a collaborative network across Lift

Qualifications

• Degree: 2:2 classification or better by start of programme (Computing preferred)
• GCSE English & Mathematics at grade 4/C or above
• Right to live and work in the UK for the training year
• Must not currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Responsibilities

• Gain practical classroom experience as a trainee Computing teacher under 1-on-1 mentoring
• Learn through school-based training and targeted weekly sessions
• Graduate with PGCE and QTS upon programme completion
