Job summary

Lift Schools invites aspiring educators to join its Computing Teacher Training Programme. Train within a school-based ITT route in partnership with Ark Teacher Training, earning while you learn toward a PGCE and QTS.

Focus on practical classroom practice under expert mentors and a supportive in-school coaching structure. The programme runs for 1 year full-time, with Summer School dates and ongoing weekly training to build confidence and teaching competence.

Qualifications

• Degree with 2:2 classification or above by start of programme (Computing or related preferred)
• GCSE English & Mathematics grade 4(C) or above (or equivalent)
• Right to live and work in UK for training year
• Must not currently hold QTS

Responsibilities

• Gain practical classroom experience as an apprentice Computing teacher with mentoring
• Weekly feedback and tailored career support from a dedicated tutor and in-school mentor
• Graduate with PGCE and QTS upon completing the programme
