Lift Schools is launching a salaried Initial Teacher Training programme to train Computing teachers in partner schools. Trainees learn in classrooms while earning a salary and working toward a PGCE and QTS, supported by mentors and a dedicated tutor.

The programme includes two-week Summer School, personalised mentoring, weekly training sessions, and a nationwide trainee network across Lift Schools and Ark Teacher Training.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with 2:2 classification or above by programme start; Computing preferred.
• GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4 (C) or above.
• Right to live and work in the UK for the training year.
• Must not currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Responsabilités

• Learn directly in the classroom with practical teaching experience.
• Receive mentoring from experienced teachers and a personal tutor.
• Attend weekly training sessions with trainees from Lift Schools and Ark Teacher Training.

Degree in Computing or related field

Strong Computing A-Level (C or above)
