Job summary

Thatcher Associates in Hampshire (on site) is seeking a Trainee Sales Executive for Out-of-Home Advertising, starting January 2027. You will join an established team selling digital screens and posters to local businesses, handling every step from cold calls to closing the deal, with full training and development provided.

You will work Monday to Friday 8:45am–5:30pm, with 22 days holiday (rising to 25) and a pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role (retail, hospitality, call centre or sales).
• Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people.
• Willing to learn and take on feedback.

Responsibilities

• Call local businesses daily to introduce advertising and generate interest.
• Book, run and close conversations by phone and in person.
• Learn products to match campaigns to client needs.
• Maintain relationships to encourage renewals and increased spend.
• Keep CRM updated with pipeline and next steps.
• Meet monthly targets with uncapped commission on top of base.
