ProTalent in Crowborough is seeking a Trainee Accountant to join a well-established independent practice in Crowborough, East Sussex. The role offers real client work early, with senior accountants close by for guidance and full study support towards AAT, with a route to ACA or ACCA.

You'll prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and companies, handle bookkeeping and VAT, and gain broad exposure across accounts, tax and bookkeeping from day one.

Qualifications

• Some accounting or practice experience, even a year of it.
• Studying towards AAT, or ready to start
• Someone local to Crowborough or the surrounding villages
• Keen to learn, happy to ask questions, comfortable picking up the phone

A well-established independent practice in Crowborough is looking for a Trainee Accountant to join their team. They have been going since 2012 and look after sole traders and owner-managed businesses across a real spread of sectors, from construction and manufacturing to marketing and consultancy. That variety matters when you are learning. You see far more in your first two years here than you would sitting in one industry.

This is a proper training role rather than a data entry job with a training label on it. You will be given real client work early, with senior accountants and the directors close enough to ask when you get stuck.
