ProTalent Limited is seeking an Accounts Associate in Brighton with a role that starts with a fully funded AAT course and day release. This is a growing accountancy group that offers solid local support while backing you with a national network.
You will work across bookkeeping, VAT and audit support using Xero, Sage and Excel; you will also liaise with clients by phone and email and help with general office duties as you progress toward qualifying as a Chartered Accountant within the firm.
ACCOUNTS ASSOCIATE
Brighton | Circa £28,000 | Fully funded AAT with day release
Most trainee roles ask you to prove yourself first and talk aboutstudy later. This one starts you on a fully funded AAT with dayrelease, and there is a clear route through to ACA afterwards forpeople who want it.
The firm is a growing accountancy group with a well establishedBrighton office. They have expanded quickly by bringing successfullocal practices into the group and then leaving them to get on withwhat they do well, so you get the backing of a national business
without losing the feel of a proper local office.
You will work across accounts, bookkeeping and audit support, whichis the fastest way to work out which part of practice you actually
enjoy. Day to day:
You do not need to have started AAT already. Attitude and reliabilitymatter more here than what you have ticked off so far.
Small enough that you will be known by name and given real clientcontact early. Big enough that there is somewhere to go once youqualify, including audit, tax and corporate finance. If you are
currently sat doing the same three tasks with no study support insight, this is a proper step up.
Happy to have an informal chat first if you would rather understandthe role before applying.
