ProTalent in Brighton is seeking an Accounts Associate to join a growing accountancy group. You will handle bookkeeping, VAT returns, and assist audit teams, with day release for fully funded AAT.
You'll work with Xero, Sage and Excel, support client queries by phone or email, and help with office duties while you learn which area you enjoy most. The role offers a clear study route to ACA and a supportive local team.
Brighton | Circa £28,000 | Fully funded AAT with day release
Most trainee roles ask you to prove yourself first and talk aboutstudy later. This one starts you on a fully funded AAT with dayrelease, and there is a clear route through to ACA afterwards forpeople who want it.
The firm is a growing accountancy group with a well establishedBrighton office. They have expanded quickly by bringing successfullocal practices into the group and then leaving them to get on withwhat they do well, so you get the backing of a national businesswithout losing the feel of a proper local office.
You will work across accounts, bookkeeping and audit support, whichis the fastest way to work out which part of practice you actually enjoy. Day to day:
You do not need to have started AAT already. Attitude and reliabilitymatter more here than what you have ticked off so far.
Small enough that you will be known by name and given real clientcontact early. Big enough that there is somewhere to go once youqualify, including audit, tax and corporate finance. If you arecurrently sat doing the same three tasks with no study support insight, this is a proper step up.
