Job summary

Flourish in Edinburgh is seeking a motivated Trainee Account Executive to join a growing shipping and logistics team. This is a full sales-cycle role with ownership of your pipeline from prospecting through to closing and account development.

You will be out meeting clients, building relationships, and targeting KPIs with a clear training program. A base salary is £30,000-£35,000 with uncapped commission and lifetime upside on accounts you bring in.

Qualifications

• Confident, personable and professional communicator.
• Motivated by targets, incentives and career progression.
• Able to work independently and manage your own territory.
• Experience working towards KPIs or targets (sales or non-sales backgrounds considered).
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close and ongoing account management
• Identify and win new business opportunities within the assigned territory
• Conduct face-to-face client meetings across Edinburgh
• Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Understand client logistics needs and present tailored solutions
• Work towards and exceed KPI and revenue targets
• Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity and sales forecasts
