Job summary

ScotRail in Glasgow is recruiting Train Presentation Team Members to join the team responsible for preparing our trains for service. In this hands-on role, you’ll help prepare trains for customers, support the wider engineering function, and contribute to a comfortable, reliable journey for millions of passengers each year.

Hours are based on a 35-hour week with a two-shift pattern, including day and back shifts; some posts may involve night shifts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures in daily work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and take initiative.
• Ability to follow risk assessments and wear PPE.
• Good communication with colleagues at all levels.
• Full UK driving licence is essential for some locations; not required for all Glasgow depots.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all aspects of train cleaning in line with presentation standards.
• Identify and report defects to support safe, comfortable journeys.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Participate in safety initiatives and contribute to safety culture.
• Use IT systems as required and assist Team Leader with duties.
