South Western Railway (SWR) is hiring a part-time cleaner for Southampton Central to ensure trains are cleaned and presented to the highest standard. You will follow Train Presentation Standards, use approved equipment, and wear COSHH-compliant PPE.

The holder of this post is responsible for cleaning and presentation of trains, ensuring all trains are clean and presented to the highest standard.
Ensuring cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with Train Presentation Standards and any local instructions.
You will use only approved equipment, chemicals and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment in accordance with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH).
Applicants who require a visa must have 6 months remaining at the time of their appointment. Training is full time and you must be able to commit to this.
Southampton Central is conveniently situated near the city centre. It is a short walk to West Quay shopping centre, a hub for retailers and restaurants, and providesan excellent link between London, Coastal areas and the Isle of Wight.
Our customers need us all day, every day (except Christmas day) and as part of the stations team, you'll need to able to work shifts at all times of the day and on every day of the week.
You will work an average of 4.67 hours per week across 5days, with additional hours on a Sunday as part of a roster.
3 weekly roster.
Week 1 - Sun-Weds 2200-0600, Thurs-Sat RD
Week 2 - Sun OFF, Mon-Sat 2200-0600
Week 3 - Sun OFF, Mon-Tues 0945-1715, Weds RD, Thurs-Sat 2200-0600
