South Western Railway is looking for Rail Operators to ensure trains are dispatched safely and stations are maintained to high standards. You will provide up-to-date travel information and assist customers in reaching their destinations on time and safely.
You will be the face of SWR, handling tasks from assisting with luggage and boarding ramps to maintaining cleanliness and safety. This safety-critical role requires attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Opportunities to work on rest days or to do overtime could increase your annual earnings. Some Rail Operators earn up to £30,000 per annum plus regional allowance.

Applicants who require a visa must have 6 months remaining at the time of their appointment. Training is full time and you must be able to commit to this.
Our customers need us all day, every day (except Christmas day) and as part of the stations team, you'll need to able to work shifts at all times of the day and on every day of the week.
You will work an average of 37 hours per week across 5 days, with additional hours on a Sunday as part of a roster.
3 week rotating roster
Monday to Saturday:
Early shifts 0630 - 1430
Late shift 1430 - 2230
Sunday shifts:
Early shift 0730 - 1530
Late shift 1430 - 2230
