Job summary

Northern Trains Limited is seeking a proactive Train Presentation Supervisor to lead multi-site teams, set high standards, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll be on the ground, guiding, supporting, and coordinating activities to ensure trains look and run to plan.

You'll manage rotas, site visits, inspections, and performance checks, using Excel and other digital tools. A full UK driving licence and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supervising teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills, able to support diverse groups.
• Comfortable handling difficult conversations and setting expectations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and digital tools to track tasks.
• A full UK driving licence held for at least two years.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating, and organising train presentation teams across multiple depots
• Being a visible presence on site, checking in with teams, offering support, and ensuring standards
• Managing rotas, site visits, inspections, and performance checks
• Encouraging continuous improvement and coaching teams
• Helping colleagues, especially those newer to the environment, with support
• Using Excel and other digital tools to manage tasks and records
• Traveling between sites to support operations
• Managing absence, performance and behaviours, including tough conversations
