Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Traffic Marshall in Welwyn Garden City for a 6-month contract. You will direct site traffic, operate the gate, and coordinate drivers to maintain safety and smooth operations.

This full-time, on-site role requires a valid CSCS card, a Traffic Marshall/Vehicle Banksman ticket, and full PPE (Hi-vis, hard hat, boots).

You must have the right to work in the UK and be comfortable working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a busy construction site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct site traffic, heavy plant, and delivery vehicles safely into, around, and out of the site.

• Maintain clear segregation between moving vehicles, site operatives, and the public.
• Guide drivers using standard hand signals and radio equipment to minimize site congestion.
• Ensure visiting drivers abide by site speed limits, parking rules, and PPE regulations

Duties & Responsibilities

• Traffic Control: Direct site traffic, heavy plant, and delivery vehicles safely into, around, and out of the site.




• Gate Management: Operate the site access gate, check incoming vehicles, and log deliveries.




• Pedestrian Safety: Maintain clear segregation between moving vehicles, site operatives, and the public.




• Driver Coordination: Guide drivers using standard hand signals and radio equipment to minimize site congestion.




• Safety Enforcement: Ensure visiting drivers abide by site speed limits, parking rules, and mandatory PPE regulations.
