Randstad CPE is seeking a Traffic Marshall in Letchworth to safely direct site traffic, manage access, and uphold pedestrian safety. The role requires a valid CSCS Card and a Traffic Marshall/Banksman ticket, with 45 hours per week on offer.
You will work under CIS terms, wearing full PPE, and coordinating with site management to maintain smooth operations and clear communications using standard signals.
Job Title: Traffic Marshall
Location: Letchworth
Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour (CIS)
Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Vehicle Guidance: Safely direct site traffic, heavy plant machinery, and delivery vehicles entering, moving around, and exiting the site.
Pedestrian Safety: Maintain clear separation between moving vehicles and workers/pedestrians to prevent site hazards.
Access Control: Manage the site entrance gate, sign in deliveries, and ensure only authorized traffic enters.
Clear Communication: Guide drivers using standard hand signals and radio equipment.
Safety Enforcement: Ensure incoming drivers follow site safety rules and wear appropriate PPE upon arrival.
General Support: Keep the entrance area clean and assist site management during quiet vehicle periods.
