Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property Engineering are seeking an experienced Traffic Marshall for a long-term construction project in Manchester on a school site. You will manage site traffic, ensure safety, and uphold access controls to protect workers and the public.

Traffic Marshall

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Marshall for a long-term construction project in Manchester on a school.

Role Overview

• Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: Long-term work (Project running until 2028)

• Vacancies: 3 Positions Available

• Location: School Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Traffic Control: Safely managing and directing all incoming and outgoing site traffic, construction vehicles, and delivery lorries.

• Access Security: Coordinating vehicle movements strictly in line with prison security protocols and gate entry procedures.

• Pedestrian Safety: Ensuring safe segregation between active site plant, delivery vehicles, and site personnel/public pathways.

Requirements

• Plant Card: Valid CPCS or NPORS Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Control qualification.

• Safety Card: Valid CSCS card and Enhnaced DBS

• Vetting: Must be willing to undergo standard secure site/prison vetting checks.

• Punctuality: Reliable, observant, and safety-focused with a strong work ethic.
