Job summary

Onecall Consultants seeks an experienced Vehicle Banksman / Traffic Marshal for a busy construction project in the Northumberland area. The role involves safely directing vehicle movements on site, guiding HGVs and deliveries, and ensuring pedestrian-vehicle separation.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid CSCS card and a recognised Banksman qualification, with prior experience on construction sites and a strong focus on health & safety. Night shifts are 8PM-5AM, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card.
• Recognised Vehicle Banksman / Traffic Marshal qualification.
• Previous experience working as a Banksman/Traffic Marshal on a construction site.
• Good understanding of site health & safety.
• Confident communication skills.
• Full PPE.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Directing and marshalling vehicles safely around site.
• Guiding HGVs, delivery vehicles and site traffic.
• Managing vehicle movements during deliveries and collections.
• Ensuring pedestrians and vehicles are kept safely separated.
• Communicating clearly with drivers and site personnel.
• Assisting with reversing and manoeuvring vehicles.
• Maintaining a safe and organised site entrance.
• Following all site health & safety procedures.
• Carrying out general traffic marshal/banksman duties as required.

Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Vehicle Banksman / Traffic Marshal to join a busy construction project in the Northumberland area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely managing vehicle movements on site, ensuring vehicles enter, exit and manoeuvre around the site safely and efficiently.

NIGHTS - 8PM -5AM - 9 HOURS - Monday - Friday
