Job summary

RGM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Traffic Marshal to join a busy construction site in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. This long-term opportunity starts on Monday 17th August and offers consistent work on a major site with an established contractor.

Responsibilities include safely directing site traffic, guiding plant and machinery, managing access points, and ensuring the safety of pedestrians and operatives. A valid CSCS card and Banksman qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card is essential.
• Valid Traffic Marshal/Banksman qualification is essential.
• Full PPE including hard hat, hi-vis vest, and safety boots.

• Managing vehicle access and egress points.
• Ensuring the safety of pedestrians, site operatives, and visitors.
• Communicating clearly with drivers, machine operators, and site management.
• Monitoring site traffic movements and identifying potential hazards.
• Maintaining safe working practices in accordance with site health and safety regulations.
• Assisting with general site duties when required by the site management team.

RATE: £17.89 per hour
HOURS: 9 hours paid per day

• Maintaining safe working practices in accordance with site health and safety regulations.
• Assisting with general site duties when required by the site management team.

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Valid Traffic Marshal/Banksman qualification (essential).
• Full PPE, including hard hat, hi-vis vest, and safety boots.
• Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshal on construction sites.
• Two recent, checkable work references.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong awareness of site safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
