Sapphire Traffic Management Solutions have depots across the UK, and the team uses latest technology to minimise disruption while keeping the road network moving. As a Traffic Management Operative you will manage planned schemes and reactive works, ensuring health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Lantra 12d accreditation, TTMBC, 12d (M1, M2, M5, M6) Lantra 12 a/b accreditation.
• Full valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Able to read CAD drawings related to the works; mechanical aptitude for traffic lights.
• IT literate; tablet data input for works records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all methods of traffic management and control systems.
• Ensure work follows safe methods and best practice procedures.
• Carry out risk assessments and method statements for traffic schemes.
• Adhere to procedures; identify improvements and report to line manager.
• Perform daily vehicle checks for safety and cleanliness.
• Promote positive company image with site presentation and conduct.
• Demonstrate initiative to improve productivity and safety.
• Assist the public and direct them through safe site lines as required.
• Know when management intervention is required.
