Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations for the Sapphire Utility Solutions division. You will lead a crew, plan works, and drive performance while maintaining HSEQ compliance across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors and the supply chain, conducting site visits, maintaining records and ensuring vehicles, PPE, and plant are ready. You will report to the Project Manager and liaise with clients and authorities to deliver on

Qualifications

• Supervise and lead crews; manage the supply chain.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety policies and safe systems of work.
• Broad operational understanding to meet contractual commitments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team to deliver planning and operations.
• Deliver works safely and on time, whilst adhering to requirements.
• Management of the operatives reporting into them including subcontractor and other supply chain partners.
• Conduct detailed and thorough site visits. (if on more than one site)
• Maintain accurate records of site resources, materials and plant and providing daily resource sheets.
• Managing subcontract performance.
• Ensuring all operatives have appropriate vehicles, equipment, stores, and skills to perform allocated work.
• Ensuring all operatives have correct PPE whilst working.
• Liaise with customers, clients, sub-contractors, local authorities and other interested third parties regarding past, present, and future works.
• To provide sufficient and timely supervision, assessments and coaching to ensure gangs are performing to our sufficient company standards.
• Perform quality on site assessments checks (x8 Audits per month, minimum 4 onsite audits).
• Regularly undertake all necessary and appropriate Toolbox Talks, Briefings, and other communications.
• To perform weekly fleet and plant checks ensuring fleet, plant and equipment maintenance is carried out and calibrated within the correct timescales.
