Job summary

Lanes Group, through Sapphire Utility Solutions, is seeking a Traffic Management Operative to support planned schemes and reactive works across the UK. You will manage traffic control methods, ensure safety standards, and contribute to efficient site operations.

Role requires Lantra 12d/12a/b, TTMBC, and a clean UK driving licence. You will read CAD drawings, input data on a tablet, and work within a safety-focused, professional team environment.

Qualifications

• Lantra 12d accreditation and Lantra 12a/b accreditation are essential.
• TTMBC certification is required.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to read and understand CAD drawings; tablet data input is needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all traffic management methods including Give and Take, Stop/Go, portable signals, convoy working, road closures and diversions.
• Ensure works follow safe methods and best practice; carry out risk assessments and method statements.
• Promote safety, site cleanliness and company image; report improvements to line manager.
• Check daily vehicle readiness and ensure drivers and passengers stay safe.
