Job summary

Intact Insurance, the UK name for RSA, is looking for a underwriting support professional based in Manchester or Leeds. This permanent role sits within the Commercial Lines Profin team and focuses on delivering reliable underwriting support to enable profitable trading outcomes.

You will prepare cases, gather data, and handle straightforward new business and renewals within defined guidelines, using Excel and company systems. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and consistent outputs.
• Ability to interpret data and apply guidance to support decision making.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with colleagues and contribute to team outcomes.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to tackle workloads and deliver tasks within a structured environment.
• Ability to use digital tools and systems such as Excel or similar platforms to support underwriting activity.
