Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a Sales Assistant for our Derby branch. This full-time role (40 hours weekly, Mon-Fri with Saturday on rota) involves serving customers, giving product advice, and processing inquiries by phone and email.

• Face-to-face sales experience at a trade counter or retail setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers on the trade counter with advice and product recommendations.
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email promptly and courteously.
• Make outbound calls to previous customers to regain business.
• Identify sales opportunities and drive branch performance.
• Perform general warehouse duties including stock receipt, put-away, picking and packing.
