Plumb Centre in Stoke-on-Trent is hiring a Sales Assistant to help customers at the trade counter, understand their needs and recommend products, while also handling phone and email enquiries and supporting warehouse tasks.

The role offers a base salary of £26,695 plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous pension, annual leave, healthcare access, discounts, and a Cycle to Work scheme, with Monday–Friday hours and one Saturday per month.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in plumbing & heating is beneficial
• Proven experience in a face to face sales/customer service position
• Great communication skills and a customer-first approach
• Great team player and willing to support in all areas of the branch
• Willingness to learn with an enthusiastic approach
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence

Responsabilités

• Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
• Handling customer enquiries via phone and email with a positive, proactive attitude, building strong customer relationships and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including picking and packing customer orders and unpacking stock to be booked in on our system and put away in the warehouse.
• Merchandising displays to a high standard in the branch.
• Relief driving 3.5t van for deliveries when the driver is on holiday.
