Job summary

Team CV LTD in London is seeking a proactive Trade Counter Assistant to join a busy sales and service team. You will handle customer orders, advise on materials, process payments and support warehouse tasks when required, with potential for permanent progression.

The role combines customer service, upselling, and basic administrative duties, including answering phones and drafting correspondence. A full, clean UK driving licence and computer literacy are essential, with SAP knowledge desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and sales providing friendly customer experience.
• Knowledge of SAP desirable and general computer literacy essential.
• Must have full, clean UK driving licence.
• Willingness to assist in warehouse and office tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders and queries efficiently.
• Keep trade counter, warehouse and office spaces clean and safe.
• Load and unload deliveries by hand; forklift if licensed.
• Process orders and handle payments.
• Move goods to storage and organise deliveries.
• Assist customers with material recommendations based on stock.
• Complete stock control paperwork and update lists accurately.
