Salary: GBP30000 - GBP30500 per annum + Plus Bonus

Location:Hertford (SG13)

Trade Counter Sales and van driver. The focus of this role is helping serve the trade customers as they come into the plumbers merchants branch, but as part of a small team you will also be expected to carry out local deliveries in the van.

We currently have an excellent Trade CounterSales / Customer Service opportunity for a leading plumbers merchant (plumbing & heating / construction supplies / building materials / builders merchant).

They want someone who will go above and beyond for the customer. Someone with high levels of customer service and a relationship builder. These are trade customers - builders, plumbers, fitters - tradespeople who will come into the branch on a regular basis. Being able to build a rapport is important.

They need a proactive, hungry sales professional who has some form of sales experienceideally comingfrom the construction supplies sector - trade sales, building materials, DIY, builders merchants, plumbers merchants etc.

You will interact with customers face to face, over the phone and by email too. You will need to be able to think on your feet and ideally demonstrate sound product knowledge when called upon(full training given).

Part of this role is also acting as Van Driver. As part of a tight-knit team, you will be a team player and help with local deliveries. As such a drivers license will be required (and ideally good local knowledge).

You will be part of a team and that is key. It's a good team and we need to find a team player! You will be helping out your colleagues as it's ateam environment.

Do you have experience within a plumbers merchants, builders merchants or trade sales? Any experience in construction or building materials? Are you in a sales assistant, sales negotiator or sales advisor position currently? Perhaps within DIY? Or work on the trade counter in a similar trade environment?
