Rubicon Recruitment Group has a client in Poole seeking a Trade Counter Assistant. In this permanent role you'll handle customer orders, process sales and invoices, and help ensure accurate order progression from initial contact to delivery.

You'll join a friendly team with training, support from a line manager, and the opportunity to contribute ideas for improvements while developing practical experience in construction or trade supplies.

Qualifications

• Must have customer-facing sales or order processing experience.
• Confidence with order entry and invoicing, accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Process sales and purchase orders accurately through the company system.
• Serve customers face to face, by phone and by email, building lasting relationships.
• Keep contractors and customers updated on order progress.
• Resolve queries and complaints promptly with a calm, helpful approach.
• Raise invoices and support credit control and data accuracy.
