Location: South Hertfordshire
Salary: From £27,000 - £30,000 (Dependent on Experience) + Generous Bonus
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (44 hours per week)

Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join a well-established plumbers’ merchant team as a Trade Counter Assistant. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and providing essential administrative support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.
2. Accurately process sales transactions and manage account-related queries.
3. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
4. Promote new products, special offers, and seasonal promotions.
5. Handle telephone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
6. Assist in the warehouse as required.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a trade counter or plumbers' merchant environment is preferred.
