ROLE: Trade Counter Assistant / Driver

HOURS: 44 per week - Permanent role

SALARY: £27,936 basic salary per year, plus 10% Zone Allowance, totaling £30,730 per year

BONUS/OTE: Realistic total earning potential of up to £34,330 per year

WHAT OUR TRADE COUNTER ASSISTANTS DO:

• Work closely with the Branch Manager and Supervisor in daily operations, leading by example
• Achieve sales targets through trade counter sales and product knowledge
• Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers
• Pick, load, and deliver products using Eurocell’s 3.5-tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans
• Plan routes, ensure safe driving, and maintain company vehicles
• Support branch activities and ensure compliance with health and safety policies
• Maintain high standards of customer service, operations, and sales targets
• Assist with branch operations, stock management, and maintaining cleanliness

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR TRADE COUNTER ASSISTANTS:

• Passion and energy for delivering excellent customer service and achieving targets
• A proactive, customer-focused approach
• Commercial awareness to drive sales and margins
• Good organisational skills and initiative
• Confident IT skills, including MS Office and industry software like SAP
• A full, valid driving license; FLT license is a plus
• Experience with stock takes, trade/builders merchant environments, or similar roles is advantageous
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
