Job summary

Williams F1 Team is seeking a Team Kit Manager to coordinate end-to-end kit procurement, stock management, and distribution for race weekends, testing, and events. You’ll lead a small team, manage suppliers, and ensure on-brand presentation across Grove and London sites.

The role requires travel to races and events, strong organisation, and collaboration with drivers, engineers, and merchandising teams.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in kit management within sport, events, or fast-paced environments.
  • Experience supervising others and directing team members.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with multiple priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail around stock accuracy, sizing, and presentation standards.
  • Experience working with suppliers and managing procurement processes.
  • Willingness to travel for races, tests, supplier visits and events.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset able to work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Suite and inventory management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full procurement cycle for all team kit—from brief to delivery—working with apparel suppliers, licensees, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure product quality, delivery timelines, and cost targets.
  • Maintain an up-to-date supplier and product matrix with lead times, SKUs, and pricing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance and consolidate supply chains.
  • Oversee the operating partner responsible for pick, pack, and distribution; set performance expectations.
  • Maintain real-time kit inventory records across Grove and London locations and trackside storage.
  • Manage sizing, replenishment, and allocation processes to ensure stock in the right place at the right time.
  • Oversee kit returns, quality checks, and end-of-season stock management.
  • Develop and maintain a clear kit catalogue with specifications, quantities, and lead times.
  • Coordinate with the operating partner on stock visibility, dispatch priorities, and order accuracy.
  • Prepare, pack, and ship kit requirements for race weekends, testing, filming days, and events.
  • Attend race weekends and testing as trackside kit lead.
  • Liaise with logistics/freight teams to include kit in event freight plans per FIA and promoter requirements.
  • Manage last-minute kit needs on-site and ad-hoc requests from drivers, engineers, and leadership.
  • Line-manage Kit Coordinators and support their development.
  • Work closely with Driver Management, Marketing, and Partnerships on kit requirements for events and activations.
  • Act as internal point of contact for kit queries across the organisation.
  • Support onboarding of new kit team members.
  • Ensure kit production and wear complies with Williams Racing brand guidelines and partner visibility.
  • Lead brand iteration rollouts across regional/global partnerships to reflect correct marque, colours, and partner requirements.
  • Manage light/dark market variants across kit ranges with version control.
