We’re on a mission to transform how people shop by making toxic ingredients, greenwashing, and sustainability scores transparent and actionable. To do this, we need a sharp, curious, and impact-driven Toxicologist to help define our health and chemical analysis methodology.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the chemical impact analysis for consumer goods (textiles, beauty, cleaning, personal care).

• Collaborate with our AI, sustainability, and product teams to develop a scalable methodology that evaluates:

• Toxicity of ingredients (human health impact)

• Carcinogenicity, bioaccumulation, and endocrine disruption

• Ingredient safety thresholds (REACH, Prop 65, EU Cosmetics Reg.)

• Support the development of AI prompts that scan ingredients and output intelligent product risk ratings.

• Help design a parameter framework that flags red-listed substances and translates toxicology insights into user-friendly language.

• Assist in building product health scores across thousands of SKUs for our MVP.

• Advise on database integration (e.g., EWG, COSING, ChemSec, PubChem) for scalable classification.

• MSc or PhD in Toxicology, Chemical Biology, Cosmetic Science, Environmental Health, or related field.

• 3+ years experience in consumer product toxicology (preferably in beauty, fashion, textiles, or cleaning products).

• Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks (e.g. REACH, EU Cosmetic Regulation, Prop 65, CLP, GHS).

• Passionate about sustainability, AI, and consumer empowerment.

• Bonus: Experience working with ingredient databases, AI prompt design, or sustainability startups.
