Procurement Specialist FTC (6-Month Contract)

Remote (with occasional in-person meetings in London)

We’re looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract and deliver immediate, measurable impact. If you have a sharp commercial mindset, proven experience in strategic procurement, particularly across software and outsourced services and a results-driven approach, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of analysing spend, renegotiating contracts, and optimising supplier performance to unlock cost savings and enhance business efficiency. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll work cross-functionally with key stakeholders in finance, operations, and technology to align procurement activity with broader commercial goals.

What You’ll Do

Analyse spend across software licensing and third-party services to identify savings opportunities
Lead procurement execution including vendor negotiations, consolidations, and sourcing strategies
Manage tenders and renewals through structured RFP/RFI processes focused on value optimisation
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure procurement supports business priorities
Negotiate supplier terms to deliver commercial improvements and maintain strong vendor relationships
Report on outcomes, including savings delivered and strategic recommendations

What You’ll Bring

5+ years’ experience in procurement, with a strong focus on software/service contracts
Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and lead commercial negotiations
Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Self-motivation and the ability to deliver independently within a fixed timeframe
MCIPS qualification preferred (but not essential)

Contract Details

Type: 6-Month
Location: Remote, with some flexibility to meet in London
Compensation: Monthly retainer + performance-based success fee linked to validated savings
