Ambitions Personnel are recruiting a Tool Technician for their Tallington site in a manufacturing environment. You will work with production and maintenance teams to keep tooling and equipment running smoothly and safely.

The role involves tool changeovers, planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and prompt response to breakdowns to minimise downtime, with a focus on maintaining high standards and supporting continuous improvement.

Competenze

• Experience in manufacturing maintenance and mould tooling.
• Fault-finding and diagnostic abilities are essential.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Understanding of PUWER and LOLER regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on a rotational shift pattern.
• Experience in injection moulding or Lean Manufacturing is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Carrying out tool changeovers and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Responding to machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Maintaining tooling, equipment and facilities to a high standard.
• Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety requirements.
