Probe UK is seeking a Shift Maintenance Technician to join a forward‑thinking engineering business. You will maintain automated plant and equipment, focusing on planned preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns in a clean, well‑laid‑out environment.

This is a rare opportunity to join a forward‑thinking engineering business with an outstanding reputation for job security and staff development. You will be working with automated plant and equipment in a clean, well‑laid‑out environment, where breakdowns are infrequent due to our comprehensive focus on planned preventive maintenance. It does, however, require experience of supporting plastic moulding equipment.
As a Shift Maintenance Technician, you’ll work within a small but effective team that has been with us for many years, operating within a well‑structured maintenance department. You’ll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across our clean and well‑laid‑out plant, so experience in supporting plastic moulding plant and equipment is essential.
As a maintenance technician you must hold formal electrical qualifications and be apprentice trained. You must have proven experience of supporting plastic moulding plant, which ideally includes PLC controls and robots within a manufacturing, process or production environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career in a company that rarely recruits and offers the security of a stable and consistent working environment, supporting well looked‑after plant and equipment rarely found in other areas of engineering.
The Maintenance Technician role is commutable from Tamworth, Cannock and Lichfield.
Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.
