Jewson in Sittingbourne is recruiting a Tool Hire Controller to deliver excellent customer service while keeping hire operations running smoothly and efficiently.

You will manage bookings, contracts and deliveries, respond to enquiries by phone, email and in person, and work Monday to Friday with Saturday rotation. Previous tool hire experience is required, and a positive, proactive mindset will help you thrive in our busy team.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in the tool hire industry.
• Ability to manage day-to-day tool and equipment hire operations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day tool and equipment hire operations.
• Deal with customer enquiries by phone, email and in person.
• Process hire bookings, contracts and customer orders accurately.
• Developing new business and managing existing customer relationships.
• Arrange and coordinate deliveries and collections with drivers.
• Maintaining servicing schedules and ensuring legal compliance.
• Processing invoices and administration accurately.
